Quick Update in School...

After 4 months, Yeah, I'm BACK!! Weeeeee~

But I'm not sure for how long this time around.. heeeee~

Sorry to all my readers (got meh? haha).. Miss me much?  U guys must be wondering, what happened to me? Why did I stop blogging all of a sudden?  

Well, to be exact, I had no intention of stopping at all.. I just couldn’t find any free time to blog.. Been busy.. In fact, super duper busy..

In my last post, I mentioned about me getting posted to SMK Padang Terap (a school located quite near to my house, hehe).. Well, everything’s fine.. In fact, I do enjoy it here.. I’m glad that I’m posted to this school... Made a lot of new friends, old and young.. But its quite difficult to make friends with the old people.. hahaha!  I struggled at first..

Not gonna say I’m being bullied or what, since its quite normal for new teachers to be given lots of works and positions..  Me and the other three new teachers here are no exception...  Right now I’m the class teacher for 3 Amanah, teaching English to 5 classes, ketua pentaksir PLBS (English), ketua pentaksir PBS (English), secretary of English panel, ketua guru penasihat English Club, ketua guru penasihat PBSM, guru penasihat for Sepak Takraw and guru penasihat rumah garuda.. My takraw team got second place in the district level, and we represented Padang Terap district for the state level.. quite an accomplishment for me.. haha..  Sadly, our choral speaking team only got second runner-up, we lost to SMK Dato Syed Ahmad n SMK Naka (Hakim’s school)..

Been so busy especially for the past two weeks.. But I got to be honest, I kinda enjoy it..  I love the hectic life I’m living now.. hehehe~

My latest hairstyle.. Somehow, I kinda prefer my previous hairstyle.. 

By the way, I got my pay already two weeks ago..  And I got quite a lot, since its for 3 and a half months!!  So terus aku g enjoy, gian lama xdak duet sndri.. hehe..  But as of rite now, I don’t have much left left..  Paid all my debts and bought lots of things..  Brought my family for “makan besar” some more.. hehe.. Now, I’m planning to get myself a Galaxy Tab and I’m thinking of 7.0 plus..  As for my first car, I think I’m gonna go with Proton Preve.. It looks promising to me..  And please stop bashing our national cars..  Yeah, I know they are not as good as the imported cars, but for God sake, Proton has improved a lot.. Just my 2 cents!

And last but not least, my sister gave birth to her first child 4 days ago.. Its a daughter.. MY FIRST NIECE!!  I’M OFFICIALLY AN UNCLE (PAK LANG)!!!!   Yeaaaa, and the name given is Aisya Humayra.. Yeah, exactly like the name of our Prophet’s wife...  And she is so cute...  I keep on rubbing her cheek, cant really stop.. hehe..

Well, I guess that’s all for now.. I’m gonna  try my best to blog as frequent as before.. Cant really promise anything.. hehe~  Thanks for reading!

New Chapter Begins

I got my posting already.... and the school is SMK Padang Terap...  Alhamdulillah...

So I reported to the school today... And Alhamdulillah,  I'm doing fine so far... All the teachers are very friendly and they have been guiding me... A LOT.... Btw,  I'm not the only one posted to that school... There's a girl from the PPC group posted there as well...  

But for the time-being,  the PK asked me to replace Ustazah Khairiah, who is on her leave..  They are in the process of rearranging all the timetables..  So, I'm not exactly an English teacher yet...  In fact, I'm an Ustaz for now...  It feels different listening to students calling you Ustaz instead of Sir.. Btw,  the matter is expected to be settled this week... So most probably I'll start my duty as an English teacher right after the CNY holiday... Cant wait.. =)

Btw, last time I did mention something about Panggilan Ujian Personaliti with Mara..  Well,  I didn't even attend that test... And surprisingly, I got the interview call from Mara... This is the second stage of the three stages..  I believe that Mara desperately needs English teachers/lecturers...  That explains why I'm still called for this interview...  Not gonna attend this though...  But its nice to know that my Degree is very 'laku' out there...  Last time, I got an interview call from UiTM Merbok.. =)

Posting Result

Alhamdulillah, our posting result came out today..  After 8 months... The wait has finally come to an end... And I got KEDAH!!!   Alhamdulillah...  Previously,  I really would love to be posted to Sarawak, but not anymore..  Its way easier if I'm posted to Kedah... Plus, I would be able to take care of my parents... They are not in their very best condition anymore these days... 

Alhamdulillah.....  All praises to ALLAH... 

Ok, moving to the second part of this entry.. I wanna COMPLAIN how officers in KPM do their work carelessly... First of all,  we should have sat for SPP Interview last June together with KPLI & PPC... and we should have been posted long time ago.. But no point to bring that up, I got over it long time ago..

But I was so angry with what happened few days ago.. Last Friday, Dr Wee told us that Unit Rendah has received the list for the new teachers... But Unit Menengah has not received any from SPP... 

So to confirm the news, I called SPP last monday... They claimed that they have send all the lists, there are, to BPSM KPM..  So I called BPSM KPM after that to check.. Yes, they admit that they already received the list and has sent it to BPSH for posting... So, I called BPSH Unit Menengah, and they claimed that they did not get any list from BPSM.. I called BPSM once again, and they told me that the list for primary and secondary teachers was sent together.. They did not group the names... So I made an assumption that the list is with Unit Rendah.. So I make a call there, but the response that I got was nothing.. 

So after been pushed to different Units, I called BPSM once again, but I requested to talk to another officer.. So after I explained the matter,  he connected me with one of the Pengarah in SPP, and we talked.. She boldly told me that our names are still with SPP... I was shocked.. How did this happened? How come the names for TESL primary were sent to KPM already, but ours aren't?  So I discussed about it with my friends,  and we came to the conclusion, that this pengarah/director knows nothing.. Nada.. 

So after recess time,  I called SPP again, but I talked to one of the officers this time around.. She told me not to worry as they have sent everything to KPM..  So I called BPSM for the third time that day.. One of the officers there told me that she personally emailed the list to one of the officers in Unit Menengah..  So reluctantly I called that officer in Unit Menengah.... And surprisingly she admitted that she has received the list.. So I ask her to check which groups are in the list,  coz I was afraid we might be left out again... She refused to check, and told me to talk to one of the Penolong Pengarah there.. 

It got worse this time around, this guy was quite rude..  He told me not to bother with their jobs as they know what they should do.. Then I tell him that I only want to check which groups are involved,  but he condescendingly said he had no time to check that for me.. Then he asked me to check with the officer I talked to earlier... But this officer claimed that she has deleted the email..  Nonsense rite?  She even said something like this to me... "Adek, buat ape adek nak sibuk2?  Kami tau la keje kami.. Kalau ade name adek, ade le.. Kalaw xder, xder le.. Kalaw ade, plg cepat pon ambek masa 3 minggu tau.. Ingat kitorang xder keje lain.. Cikgu semua macam ni kan, sebelum keja, thegeh2 nak posting, dh dapat, mcm2 komplen.. "   I was so angry/dissapointed with this, so I hanged up the phone.. No point to talk to this kind of people.. 

So I shared the info with few friends, and we decided to tell Dr Wee about this.. Then we sent numerous tweets to Dr Wee, and I even sent SMSes to him.. 

Alhamdulillah,  on the very same day,  Dr Wee went to Unit Menengah and checked the progress... And he instructed all the officers to settle our posting within this week... 

And here we are, after two days, our posting has been announced..  Get my point?  This could be settled in few days,  but those officers simply refused to do so.. In other words,  they are plain lazy... 

I'm not saying all officers in KPM are like this... I believe that only few are like this... But because of this kind of people,  we lost 3-month seniority to KPLI/PPC and was about to lose some more.. 

Seriously, I couldn't stop smiling up until now.. Alhamdulillah... This is how I look when I smile, in case if you're wondering.. hehe

And lastly, kudos to Dr Wee.. He has my utmost respect...  For the past 8 months, he has done a lot for us.. 

P/S: I'm glad that I got daily (normal) school.. Its different this time around... Some of us get Boarding School, Religious School,  Art School, Technical and Vocational School, as well as School for The Disabled...

SPP Result

Alhamdulillah....Alhamdulillah.....Alhamdulillah...and Alhamdulillah....That's all I can say...

P/S:  KISSM (checked)... SPP Interview (checked)... I guess the only thing left to do for now is to wait for the posting call... Insya'Allah it's gonna be soon...

P/S/S:  Opsss, totally forgotten about 'Tapisan Keselamatan'... have to do that as well..

Kursus Induksi Sistem Saraan Malaysia (KISSM) Result

Actually,  the result came out last week, together with our juniors' result, who had their KISSM last month.... Irony? Unfair?  Nah, I dont mind that...  But I didn't feel happy for the result at first...  Reason being:  KISSM will be replaced with Program Transformasi Minda (PTM) as 'syarat sah jawatan' when SBPA is implemented... And one of my friends told me that if we haven't settled our 'Pengesahan Jawatan' by the time SBPA is implemented, we would have to attend PTM as well..  Then what's the point of attending KISSM?

I Pass... Alhamdulillah.. I was so afraid previously coz I made a mistake with my matrix number for the Assignments.. 

So, I took the initiative to email KPM to ask for clarification and I got the reply this morning... Alhamdulillah,  for those who have gone through KISSM and pass the exam, they wont have to attend PTM..  

Besides that, rumor has it that we will be posted in January... If that is the case,  we will be able settle our pengesahan jawatan (post verification) straight away after we are posted...  Normally, it would take 2-3 years to do this... But luck is on our sides since we did KISSM straight away after we finished our study... 

And why is 'Pengesahan Jawatan' so important?  The thing is, you can only opt for Skim Pencen after you have verified your post...  Before that, you're under the KWSP scheme, you have no say in this... To be honest,  I'm opting for Skim Pencen instead of KWSP,  even though most people said you get more with KWSP...

P/S:  I'm praying for posting to come soon so that I can stop writing posting-related-entries...  Have been talking about the same thing for months.. hehe
